Mia Hamm Mia Hamm revolutionized women’s soccer, becoming a global icon and two-time Olympic gold medalist (1996, 2004). As a key figure in the U.S. Women’s National Team, she led the team to two FIFA Women’s World Cup titles (1991, 1999) and scored 158 international goals, a record at the time of her retirement.
