Skyquakes, also known as mystery booms, are unexplained loud explosions or sonic booms heard in various locations worldwide with no clear source. Reported from the U.S. East Coast ("Seneca Guns") to the Ganges Delta ("Barisal Guns"), these deep, thunder-like sounds often rattle windows but leave no visible trace. Possible explanations include methane explosions, secret military tests, meteors entering the atmosphere, or shifting tectonic plates—yet many cases remain unsolved. Unlike earthquakes, they rarely register on seismic sensors, deepening their mystery. These eerie phenomena continue to puzzle scientists and spark theories ranging from natural gas releases to paranormal activity.
