Shanti Devi (India 1935) Born in Delhi Shanti Devi as a young child claimed to be the reincarnation of Lugdi Devi from Muttra. She described her husband Dharam Singh her home and dying in childbirth. At age ten she led investigators to Muttra identifying locations people and private details only the deceased could know. She recognized her former husband and recalled their money buried under a neem tree where it was later found. Skeptics suggest fraud or family coaching but researchers from the Indian Ministry of Education and paranormal investigator Ian Stevenson found no evidence of deception. Her case remains one of the most thoroughly documented and influential in reincarnation studies.
