Sewage Systems (as early as 3000 BC in various cultures) - Early sewage systems were built in settlements such as Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa in the Indus Valley, and later in ancient Rome with its impressive aqueducts and sewer systems, improving public health and sanitation.
