Flight NC16002, a Douglas DC-3 airliner, vanished on December 28, 1948, during a routine flight from San Juan to Miami. With 32 people aboard, the aircraft disappeared near the Florida coast after the pilot reported being 50 miles out. No wreckage or bodies were ever recovered, despite extensive searches. The cause remains officially unknown, adding one of the most perplexing aviation mysteries to Bermuda Triangle lore.
