The Ellen Austin, a schooner, encountered a derelict ship in the Bermuda Triangle in 1881 that was seaworthy but completely abandoned. After placing a prize crew aboard, the two ships became separated in fog. When they reunited, the derelict was once again empty, with the prize crew vanished without a trace. No logical explanation was ever found, making it one of the most eerie and enduring mysteries of the region.
