The Mary Celeste is often incorrectly linked to the Bermuda Triangle, as its infamous abandonment occurred near the Azores. Discovered adrift in December 1872, the merchant ship was fully provisioned but completely deserted, with the crew vanished. The lifeboat was missing, and the cargo of alcohol was intact, yet the captain's log showed no signs of distress. The true fate of its ten occupants remains one of history's greatest maritime mysteries, unsolved to this day.
